Semester Registration

We are excited to welcome both new and returning students to CKT-UTAS for another enriching academic year. The semester registration process is a crucial step in ensuring a seamless transition into the upcoming semester.

We have outlined all the essential information you need to know to make the registration process as smooth as possible.

• Take note, registration must be done personally, as proxy registrations are not permitted.
• During the official registration period, all students are required to register for the group of courses approved by their respective Department/School/University.
• Please note that failure to register within the specified period will result in the student being precluded for the entire academic year.
• To avoid such circumstances, ensure timely registration to stay on track with your program of study.
• In exceptional cases where a student is unable to register due to medical reasons, a provision has been made. Students may register within two weeks after the close of registration by providing a medical report approved by the University’s Medical Director.
• If registration remains impossible within this extended period, the student may opt to defer their program.
• To complete your semester registration, please visit your respective department and submit your registration form and academic activities. It’s important to finalize this step to ensure a smooth and successful registration process.

Trailed Courses

• For students who have trailed courses from the previous semester, it is crucial to make sure it is included in your registration form.
• Report any challenges to your HOD for resolution.
