Postgraduate Entry Requirements

A candidate seeking for admission to pursue any of our Ph.D. programmes must:

1. Have an M.Phil. or M.Sc. by research degree in the relevant field from a recognized
   University.
2. Submit an official transcript of academic records, certificates and other relevant
   documents.
3. Meet the Departmental requirements.

Applicants who want to pursue our M.Sc./M.Phil. programmes must also:

1. Have obtained a good first degree in Bachelor of Science, at least Second Class Lower, in
   the relevant field of study from a recognized University or Tertiary Institution.
2. Submit an official transcript of academic records and other relevant documents.
3. Meet the Departmental requirements.

Scholarship

The University has a limited scholarship package for needy students to fully pay
for their Academic Facility User Fees (AFUF) and other charges. Applicants who are orphans,
disabled, displaced, and females and can show proof of their needy status will be given priority in the
award of the scholarship.
