FIDELITY BANK DONATES TOWARDS MAIDEN CONGREGATION

The maiden Congregation of the C. K. Tedam University of Technology & Applied Sciences (CKT-UTAS) has received a major boost financially, with the donation of a whopping amount of Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS 10,000) by Fidelity Bank Ghana. The Cheque was received by the Vice-Chancellor of CKT-UTAS Professor Eric Magnus Wilmot, in the company of the Registrar. Dr. V.A. Ankamah-Lomotey, Director of Finance of CKT-UTAS Mr. Anab Anamoatulib, and members of the Congregation Planning Committee.

The elated Vice-Chancellor expressed Management’s gratitude to Fidelity Bank Ghana for the kind gesture and reiterated a call for the funding of a 1000-bed hostel facility through a loan to be granted by the latter. The donation was made on behalf of Fidelity Bank Ghana by Mr. Charles Anyoka, Hub Manager, Northern Sector, together with Mr. Aiden N. Nankpeye, Commercial Relationship Manager, Bolgatanga.

The Department has Chalked a success of over 300,000 Smart accounts and provides financial literacy in all the three northern regions of the country, including some outskirts of the Central and Greater Accra regions as well.

It works closely with the Agency Network team and the Strategic Partnership team on driving the agenda of Financial Inclusion and bringing banking to the doorsteps of customers. Fidelity has worked on quite a several projects with donor agencies like the World Bank, Care International, GIZ, IFC, USAID, and UCDF mobilizing over six million Ghana cedis, as a raw deposit for the Bank.

The inclusive Banking department now has two other products in addition to the Smart Account i.e. The Smart Goal account and Yello Save.
