Director of Finance

Mr. Anaamoatulim Anab was appointed by the Governing Council of C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences as the Director of Finance in January 2021. He serves as the Chief Financial Advisor to the Council and University Management. Mr. Anab is leading the restructuring of the newly created Directorate of Finance of the University.

Prior to joining CKT-UTAS, Mr. Anab had worked at the University of Ghana (UG) as Head of Salaries, Office/Personal Account and Insurance, Head of External Funds/ Research Grants and Head of Finance- Works Dept. /Internal Revenue Office.

In these roles, he was instrumental in the introduction of innovative ideas that culminated inter-alia in the successful migration of university payroll from different payroll softwares onto a single platform, stricter controls in the processing of UG payroll, development of salary structure for grant application, and the design of expenditure request forms which allowed Unit Heads to track and monitor budgetary performance.

He has also worked previously at the University of Education, Winneba as Head of Financial Reporting and Stores, and at the Ghana Institute of Languages as Head of Accounts and first Internal Auditor.

Mr. Anab has a flair for teaching and in that quest, he has since 2015 been an Examiner for the Financial Reporting paper of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), Lecturer, Financial Reporting, Academic City College, Lecturer, Financial Reporting and Management Accounting at the Heritage Christian University College, and Lecturer, Strategic Management Accounting and Organisational Behavior, University of Education, Winneba, but to mention a few.

Mr. Anaamoatulim Anab graduated with a Higher National Diploma (Accounting option) from the Kumasi Polytechnic in 1999. After a brief stint in the corporate world, he enrolled for his top-up undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), graduating with a second-class Upper Division. Shortly after, he obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) Accounting (thesis option) from the University of Ghana in 2012.

Mr. Anab is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the ICAG. He is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Ghana.

The Finance/Accounting Expert is a Board Member of Hope Christian Hospital, Gomoa Fete, Central Region of Ghana, and was Vice-President, Ghana Association of University Administrators, UG Chapter, as well as Tutor, Commonwealth Hall.

He has also served on several Committees including HR Compensation Committee of UG Medical Center, GCB, UG Scheme Loan Committee, and Committee to Develop Manual for UG Grant Management, Finance Committee, Ghana Institute of Languages, Audit Committee, Ghana Institute of Languages, Tender Board, Ghana Institute of Languages.

He is currently a Board member of Hope Christian Hospital, Gomoa Fete, and the ICAG Admission Committee.

Mr. Anaamoatulim Anab is a member of the Church of Christ and married with three (3) Children.
